Florida head coach Billy Napier has hired Katie Turner as his assistant athletic director of recruiting strategy.
Turner served as Georgia’s director of recruiting operations over the past two years. The Bulldogs’ 2021 class ranked fourth in the country, and their 2022 class currently ranks third.
Prior to her stay in Athens, she worked for Napier at Louisiana from 2018-20 as the director of football on-campus recruiting. The Ragin’ Cajuns signed the Sun Belt’s top-ranked class in 2019 and 2020.
Turner began her career in recruiting as a student at Alabama at the same time that Napier coached the Crimson Tide’s receivers. After graduating in 2016, she worked for the Buffalo Bills for three years before rejoining Napier at Louisiana.
