James has “very high interest” in the Florida Gators

In the last few weeks, the Florida Gators have offered multiple 2022 running backs from out of state as they expand their board for next year’s class.

2022 running back Jordan James (5-10, 205, Murfreesboro, TN. Oakland) was one of those guys who received the news from the Gators coaching staff last week.

“Coach Greg Knox offered me,” James said on the coach who offered him last week. “He was just talking about the things that he likes about my film and why he wanted to offer.”

James currently has 15 offers from several big schools but he admits the Florida offer is one that caught his attention.

“This offer means quite a bit to me,” he said on what the offer means to him. “I love Florida’s program and I could see myself playing there and I was just excited to get the offer.”

Running backs coach Greg Knox explained to James just why the Gators like his style of playing and the running back believes he can fit into Florida’s offense.

“We didn’t get into much but he said he likes my vision and how I’m able to break a lot of tackles and make cuts,” James said on the message from Knox and he will fit into the offense. “I love how Florida involves their backs in the run and passing game, that’s one thing that really stands out to me.”

James has offers from Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee already but he wants to get down to Gainesville to visit the Gators before he makes a decision.

“I have a very high interest in Florida,” he said on his interest in Florida. “Georgia and Tennessee are also recruiting me hard but I do plan on visiting Florida.”
