Jadan Baugh is on pace to have one of the best individual seasons in Florida program history.
Through four games of the 2026 season, the junior running back has rushed for 600 yards and 11 touchdowns. He’s on pace for 1,800 rushing yards and 33 rushing touchdowns.
Coming off a 142-yard performance in a win over Ole Miss, Baugh has rushed for over 100 yards for the fifth straight game dating back to last season, becoming the third Gator to accomplish the feat all-time alongside Fred Taylor (1997) and Emmitt Smith (1987, 1988).
“That means everything to me, just having my name up there with those guys, like you just named, they did so much when they were here. And being able to just follow in their footsteps and excel, that means just so much,” Baugh said postgame.
In that span, Baugh has 866 rushing yards (130+ in each game) and 13 touchdowns. He also joins Leonard Fournette as the only SEC running backs over the past 20 years to rush for 100+ yards and two touchdowns in five consecutive games, according to Max Olson and ESPN Insights.
Baugh is the fastest Gator ever to reach 10 rushing touchdowns in a season, doing so in 3.5 games and topping Tim Tebow’s previous mark of seven games in 2007. Tebow went on to set the program record with 23 rushing touchdowns that season.
“That’s a great accomplishment. But at the same time, we have a lot more to go,” Baugh said on Saturday. “The season is probably — like a quarter of the season just passed. But being able to go out there and stay where our feet are and just continue to improve each and every week, I feel like that’s the best thing that ever happened to me and it feels very, very good.”
Despite all the historic accomplishments, Baugh remains team driven.
“We’ve got a next game.”
Florida travels to Missouri next Saturday to take on the Tigers, where Baugh will look to continue building his Heisman resume.
