The Florida Gators picked up their sixth commitment of the 2022 class on Sunday afternoon when the Gators picked up a top prospect from Georgia.
Receiver Isaiah Bond (6-0, 175, Buford, GA. High) committed to the Gators over Miami and several other schools on Sunday.
“It was a hard decision but I’ll be taking my talents to the University of Florida,” Bond said
Bond who is considered an athlete by most says the Florida Gators want him to play on the offensive side of the ball in college.
“They see me playing all over as a receiver,” Bond said on the message from the coaches. “They can see me doing different match-ups because of my playmaking ability and ability to create space on the field.”
The Georgia athlete plans to run track in college and he has been high on the Gators since he picked up an offer from the Gators last month.
“They’re high right now,” he said on his interest in Florida in April. “The program as a whole is just a complete program, I need to do my research on them more.”
Despite committing, Bond has never made it to Gainesville for a visit but the receiver plans to visit Gainesville on June 1st for the Gators cookout that will kick-off a huge month of June for the Gators’ coaching staff.
Bond joins receiver Syveion Ellis, offensive lineman Tony Livingston, and quarterback Nick Evers as members of the Class of 2022 on the offensive side of the ball.
