Kimber was a four-star recruit in the class of 2020 out of Mansfield Timberview High School in Arlington, Texas. He was selected to play in the All-American Bowl.

The 6-foot, 170-pounder played in four games in his two seasons in Athens and made a total of two tackles. He suffered a season-ending shoulder injury in the Bulldogs’ second game of the 2021 season against UAB.

Kimber entered the transfer portal on Wednesday and committed to Billy Napier less than 72 hours later. He’ll have all four years of eligibility remaining.
