Gators plummet in the polls

As expected, the Gators took a nosedive in the polls this week following their 20-13 loss at Kentucky on Saturday.

UF fell nine spots to No. 18 in the USA TODAY Sports AFCA Coaches Poll and dropped 10 spots to No. 20 in the Associated Press Poll.

Meanwhile, Kentucky moved up nine spots to No. 14 in the Coaches Poll and entered the AP Poll at No. 16.

Ethan was born in Gainesville and has lived in the Starke, Florida, area his entire life. He played basketball for five years and knew he wanted to be a sportswriter when he was in middle school.
