The Florida Gators picked up a big commitment on Saturday night from one of their top targets from the 2020 class.

2020 athlete Jaquavion Fraziars (6-4, 184, Ocala, FL. Dunnellon) committed to Florida after talking it over with his family.

“I just felt like the time was right for me to commit,” Fraziars said of his commitment to Florida on Saturday. “The one main reason is that Florida is so close to home and you know family is always a factor.”

Fraziars who has visited Florida several times in the past likes the progress that Dan Mullen made in year and likes where things are headed.

“The offense they run just fits my ability,” he said on why Florida was the pick for him. “I like what Dan Mullen has going on with the new team and the coaching staff.”

The 2020 athlete told his area recruiter the good news but he heard how happy the rest of the staff was for him.

“I told Coach Christian Robinson and he said he was all for it and was ready,” Fraziars said on which coach he committed to. “I heard that Coach Mullen was excited to hear the news.”

Fraziars who plays all over the field in high school says that the Gators want him to play on the offensive side of the ball in college.

“They like me at receiver,” he said on where Florida wants him to play. “We [Coach Gonzales and Fraziars] haven’t talked much but he says he has big plans for me. They’re interested in my height and speed.”

Playing receiver is something Fraziars likes and he was impressed with Florida’s offense this past year.

“It looked great,” Fraziars said on his thoughts on Florida’s offense. “Everything looked like it flowed really well and a nice balance between run and pass.”

Now that Fraziars has committed to Florida, the athlete says he’s trying to help get others to join him in the 2020 class.

“I’m trying to get [Leonard] Manuel in the deal but only time will tell,” he said on if he’s recruiting anyone to join him. “I want to make this class the best class with me.”

INSIDERS TAKE: Fraziars is one of the top ranked players for the 2020 class in the state of Florida and he says he plans to visit Florida soon.
