Florida will host FSU under the lights

The Florida Gators will finish the 2019 season the way it began, under the lights in primetime.

Florida will host Florida State at 7:30 p.m. on November, 30 with SEC Network broadcasting the game.

The Gators have played five night games this season, but only two of those (FSU included) have been at The Swamp. The Gators opened the season in primetime against Miami in Orlando. They had a night kickoff at home against UT-Martin and played night games against Kentucky in Lexington and LSU in Baton Rouge.

This will be the first night game between Florida and Florida State since 2016 and the first night kick between the two teams in Gainesville since 2015.

Additionally this game will serve as senior day for 22 Gators, including starters Lamical Perine, Van Jefferson, Tyrie Cleveland, Josh Hammond, Freddie Swain, Jon Greenard, Adam Shuler, Tommy Townsend, Jacob Tilghman, Nick Buchanan, David Reese and Jeawon Taylor.

Nick de la Torre
A South Florida native, Nick developed a passion for all things sports at a very young age. His love for baseball was solidified when he saw Al Leiter’s no-hitter for the Marlins live in May of 1996. He was able to play baseball in college but quickly realized there isn’t much of a market for short, slow outfielders that hit around the Mendoza line. Wanting to continue with sports in some capacity he studied journalism at the University of Central Florida. Nick got his first start in the business as an intern for a website covering all things related to the NFL draft before spending two seasons covering the Florida football team at Bleacher Report. That job led him to GatorCountry. When he isn’t covering Gator sports, Nick enjoys hitting way too many shots on the golf course, attempting to keep up with his favorite t.v. shows and watching the Heat, Dolphins and Marlins.
