As a true freshman in 2023, the Omaha, Nebraska native played in ten games and made one start, catching six passes for 237 yards and three touchdowns on the season. Lloyd averaged 39.5 yards per catch and each of his three touchdown receptions covered at least 58 yards.
Lloyd was a six-time state champion in track and field at Omaha Westside and Omaha Central High School. In his senior season, Lloyd was the all-class champion in the long jump and triple jump, while finishing second in the 100 meters and third in the 4×100-meter relay. As a junior he won Class A titles in the 100 meters, long jump and triple jump. Lloyd also was the Class A long jump champion as a sophomore. Llyod was named the 2021-22 Gatorade Nebraska Boys Track and Field Player of the Year.
On the National level, Lloyd won the 2022 National Junior Olympic Championships in long jump while finishing third in 100 meters. He also won the national title in long jump and placed second in triple jump at the 2022 Nike Outdoor Nationals. At the 2021 National Junior Olympic Championship, Lloyd finished second in triple jump and third in long jump.
The 5’10, 180 pound receiver will be a redshirt junior in 2026 with two years of eligibility remaining. Lloyd marks Florida’s 10th scholarship receiver.
