Florida Gators win the Orange Bowl against Virginia

The Florida Gators (11-2, 6-2) defeated the Virginia Cavaliers (9-5, 6-2) in the Orange Bowl to win their 11th game of the season in Dan Mullen’s second season at Florida.

The Gators offense started fast and racked up over 100 yards rushing in the first half and took a 24-14 lead into halftime.

Florida didn’t look back and cruised to a victory in the second half after the defense dominated Virginia after halftime.
