Florida Gators visitors list preview for the FSU game

The Florida Gators will host their last home game of the 2021 football season on Saturday when the Florida State Seminoles come to town.

Despite not having a head football coach, the Gators will still host several prospects on campus including a few commits at the game.

While the prospects will not know which coaches will be staying in Gainesville this is still an opportunity for them to see a good game day atmosphere in the Swamp.

GatorCountry brings you a preview of what prospects are expected in town on Saturday.

Commits

Whoever takes over as head coach at Florida will be tasked with keeping this recruiting class intact as early signing day is nearing.

The Gators will host five commits on campus on Saturday and these five guys have remained solid despite the coaching change.

Offensive lineman David Conner, linebacker EJ Lightsey, defensive lineman Jamari Lyons, running back Terrance Gibbs and 2023 receiver Darren Lawrence are all expected in Gainesville on Saturday.

2022 targets to visit

While the Gators’ recruiting board could change and probably will change when a new head coach arrives, the following targets are expected in town.

Purdue defensive back Jordan Buchanan doesn’t have an offer from Florida yet, but he’s expected in town for his second visit this fall on Saturday. Buchanan is starting to pick up a lot of interest from several SEC schools.

Miami defensive back Chris Graves is also expected on campus for the second time this fall. Graves is still looking at several schools including the Gators despite his commitment to Miami.

2023 targets to visit

2023 defensive lineman John Walker has been a frequent visitor to Gainesville this year and he’s expected back on campus on Saturday.

2023 offensive lineman Olaus Alinen will make the trip down from Connecticut as Alinen is orginally from Finland.

2023 defensive back Sharif Denson has been to three games this fall and is expected back again on Saturday for the FSU game.

2023 receiver Donielle Hayes also plans to be attendance as he looks for an offer from the Gators.
