Florida Gators visitors list preview for spring practice #2

The Florida Gators will take the practice field on Saturday for their second spring practice, and they will do so in front of several big named prospects.

On Thursday, the Gators hosted several guys on campus for the first practice, but this weekend will have more prospects in town.

GatorCountry brings you a look at this weekend’s visitors list for spring practice number two of the spring.

 

Offensive skill players to visit

Napier and the rest of the coaching staff are focused on adding more skill players to the offensive side of the ball in the 2025 class and this weekend several guys will be in town.

Miami receiver commit Waden Charles plans to be back in Gainesville on Saturday as Florida has continued to recruit the Canes commit hard. The Gators are hoping to make a big impression on Charles and get an official visit from the receiver.

Receiver Koby Howard plans to visit Florida on Saturday and he plans to watch practice while on campus. Howard has a top eight that includes the Gators, and he plans to announce a commitment on March 31st. Despite making a commitment in March, Howard still plans to take official visits after his decision.

Receiver Joshua Moore is someone that is rising several recruiting boards and Billy Gonzales has made him a priority for months now. Moore plans to take an official visit to Gainesville in May.

Receiver Winston Watkins has been in Gainesville since Thursday, and he plans to stay through Saturday where he will he get a second chance to watch practice. Watkins is building a relationship with the coaching staff as he takes his recruitment slow after two decommitments.

Running back Akylin Dear has been in Gainesville since Thursday night and on Saturday he will get to see practice after spending all day on Friday with the coaching staff. Dear is considered one of the top backs in the country for the Class of 2025.

Tight end Hayden Bradley will be in Gainesville for the first time on Saturday as Russ Callaway has been recruiting the tight end hard. Florida wants two tight ends in the class, so Saturday is big for both sides.

Tight end Micah Jones has been to Gainesville multiple times already and he’s in Gainesville for two days. Jones is one of the Gators top targets at his position and Callaway hopes to get an official visit set with Jones this weekend.

Tight end Caden Piening also plans to be in Gainesville on Saturday for the first time as the Gators recently made his top 10.

 

Offensive lineman to visit

Offensive lineman Malachi Goodman will make the long trip from New Jersey as he will visit Florida both Friday and Saturday. Goodman will get the chance to meet new offensive line coach John DeCoster for the first time this weekend.

 

Defensive end to visit

Defensive end Tylon Lee will be in Gainesville on Saturday as the Gators are fighting both Florida State and Miami. Lee will most likely take an official visit to Gainesville.
