Florida Gators visitors list preview for March 7th spring practice

The Florida Gators will start spring practice on Thursday as Billy Napier enters year three in Gainesville with the Florida Gators.

Thursday is also a big day for the coaching staff as they will start to host recruits on campus for visits as prospects come into town to watch practice and meet with the staff.

Over the next month, the coaching staff will host several big prospects on campus, and we preview the guys expected on campus on Thursday.

Defensive back to visit

Defensive back Hylton Stubbs is a major target for the Gators and Florida has been sitting in good shape with him for a few months but Florida State and Miami are still squarely in the mix and will get official visits.

Running backs to visit campus

The Florida Gators will host four running backs on campus on Thursday including running back commit Waltez Clark who has picked up several big offers since committing to the Gators. Thursday will be a chance for the coaching staff to catch up with Clark and show him why he committed to Florida.

Running back Akylin Dear will make the trip to Gainesville from Mississippi and he’s scheduled to arrive in town on Thursday evening and stay through Saturday. This will mark the first trip to town for Dear.

Running back Girard Pringle picked up an offer from Florida earlier this week and quickly scheduled a visit to campus. Pringle is a speedster, and he wants to meet with the coaching staff and see practice on Thursday.

Running back Shekai Mills-Knight doesn’t have an offer from Florida currently but he plans to be in Gainesville from Thursday to Saturday. The Tennessee native will be in town on Thursday evening.

Receiver to visit UF

Receiver Winston Watkins has an offer from the Gators and on Thursday he will meet with the coaching staff for the first time in over a year. Watkins is a former Colorado and Texas A&M commit and has offers from several big schools.
