Florida Gators visitors list preview for March 24th weekend

It has been a busy spring in Gainesville as the Florida Gators go through spring practice while also hosting prospects on campus on a daily basis.

Billy Napier and the coaching staff will conduct another spring practice on Saturday, and it’s scheduled to be another busy weekend of visitors on campus to watch practice.

After hosting the top receiver in the country on Thursday, several other topflight prospects are scheduled to be in town starting on Friday.

Top receivers to visit Florida

After hosting Ohio State receiver commit Jeremiah Smith on Thursday, the Gators will host one of their top targets on campus on Saturday.

Receiver Chance Robinson will make the trip to Gainesville on Saturday, the St. Thomas Aquinas product has been a top target of Napier’s for months and he will make his first trip to town this weekend. Florida, Florida State, and Miami are all battling for Robinson.

Receiver Micah Gilbert will make the trip down to Gainesville from North Carolina on Saturday. Gilbert is looking to pick up an offer from Florida while on campus this weekend as North Carolina is leading the charge in Gilbert’s recruitment.

Athlete to visit

Athlete Jalewis Solomon has offers to play on either side of the ball and on Saturday he will make the trip to Gainesville. Solomon has offers from several SEC schools and the Gators will make their pitch to Solomon on Saturday.

Defensive linemen to visit

The Gators are trying to load up on the defensive line and this weekend they will host two of their top prospects.

Defensive lineman Malik Blocton will make the trip down from Alabama on Friday to visit with Sean Spencer and the rest of the coaching staff. Blocton has been on campus multiple times already, but the Gators are playing catch-up to Auburn early on. Blocton likes the Gators a lot and Friday is another chance for the coaching staff.

Defensive lineman Kendall Jackson will make the short drive over to campus on Saturday as Jackson visits the Gators again as he has been on campus several times this year and was at almost every home game last year. The Gators are the early leader for the Gainesville native.

Defensive side of the ball well represented

Athlete Kevin Levy is one of Corey Raymond’s top targets as he wants the athlete to play defensive back. Raymond has made Levy a priority since early on and the Gators are the early favorite for the athlete.

Defensive back Josiah Davis was on campus earlier this spring and named the Gators his leader after the visit and now he’s scheduled to be back on campus again. Davis is a safety that the Gators like a lot and he has built a good relationship with Jay Bateman.

Linebacker Brian Huff will make the trip from Arkansas on Saturday and while he doesn’t have an offer from the Gators yet, Huff has been in contact with the coaching staff. Arkansas is the early favorite for Huff.
