GatorCountry brings you a Florida Gators visitors preview for this weekend’s big visits.
Official visitors
The Gators will host two out of state prospects and one instate prospect this weekend on official visits as the Gators try and gain momentum heading into next month’s dead period.
Defensive end Kedrick Bingley-Jones (6-5, 266, Charlotte, NC. Providence Day School) will be on campus as the once Florida commit will be on campus for the first time since leaving the Gators class. Jones plans to announce his final decision on August 3rd.
Defensive end Myles Murphy (6-4, 280, Greensboro, NC. Dudley) is also planning to be on campus this weekend. Murphy has spoke highly of the Gators in the past but South Carolina is the team to watch for Murphy heading into this weekend.
Offensive lineman Gerald Mincey (6-5, 324, Fort Lauderdale, FL. Cardinal Gibbons) is scheduled to take his first official visit this weekend. Mincey is a once Kentucky commit but decomitted after receiving several new offers. Mincey plans to announce next fall.
Unofficial visitors
Joining the official visitors this weekend is scheduled to be several top targets on unofficial visits. While camp is going on, these guys just plan to visit campus and not camp at this time.
Defensive back Fenley Graham (5-9, 171, Lakeland, FL. High) is scheduled to be on campus on Saturday. Graham tweeted earlier this week that a commitment was coming soon and the Gators and Miami are considered to be the favorites for Graham.
Joining Graham this weekend will be his new teammate athlete Arian Smith (6-1, 170, Lakeland, FL. High) who just transferred to Lakeland. Florida and Florida State are the two teams linked to Smith the most.
Defensive tackle Jalen Lee (6-3, 285, Watson, LA. Live Oak) plans to visit Florida on Friday. Lee visited Florida for the spring game in April and had high praise for the Gators following that trip.
Offensive lineman Jovens Janvier (6-3, 350, Miami, FL. Christian School) is scheduled to be on campus on Friday to visit the Gators. Janiver is a former Louisville commit who has a lot of interest in the Gators.
On Sunday the Gators are scheduled to host receiver Michael Redding (6-1, 195, Bradenton, FL. IMG) will make his first visit to Gainesville this spring. Redding is very high on Florida State and Miami but has taken a lot of visits as of late.
