Florida Gators visitors list for the Kentucky game

The Florida Gators opened 2018 football season last Saturday night with a big win in front of several recruits but as the games get bigger the visitors list will get bigger.

On Saturday the Gators will host Kentucky in the Swamp and several of the Gators top targets are expected to be in the Swamp to watch the game.

GatorCountry brings you a visitors preview for this Saturday’s game in the Swamp.

Official visitors

After hosting three official visitors last weekend, the Florida Gators will host just one official visit this weekend but it’s a big one for the coaching staff.

Alabama defensive end commit Justin Eboigbe (6-4, 263, Forest Park, GA. High) is taking his official visit to Florida this weekend. Eboigbe who committed to Alabama in June is keeping his options open after Alabama has picked up some recent commits at his position and the Gators are a school he’s listening hard to. The Gators will need a good visit this weekend with the defensive end.

Unofficial visits

Last weekend with it being not a great game to attend the unofficial visitors list was down some but this weekend is setting up to be a bigger weekend for the Gators. Leading the charge on an unofficial visit is defensive back Kaiir Elam (6-1, 190, North Palm Beach, FL. The Benjamin School) who is one of the biggest targets still out there. Ohio State, Florida and Georgia are all battling for Elam but this recruitment is expected to go on for a while.

Joining Elam in Gainesville this weekend is another big target in defensive end Braylen Ingraham (6-4, 260, Fort Lauderdale, FL. St. Thomas Aquinas) who likes Alabama, Miami and Florida a lot. This will be his first trip to Gainesville since the spring but Ingraham has been talking with the Gators coaching staff a lot.

Another big target that’s expected to visit on Saturday is Tennessee safety commit Aaron Beasley (6-1, 220, Franklin, GA. Heard County) who says he’s been talking to Florida a lot as of late. Beasley is from the same high school that freshman quarterback Emory Jones is from.

Receiver Trey Knox will also be in town on an unofficial visit as he will save his official visit to Florida for later in the year. Knox who plans to commit in October will take an official visit to Tennessee later in the month.

Joining those two guys is scheduled to be offensive lineman Kamaar Bell (6-3, 320, Moultrie, GA. Colquitt County) who last visited Gainesville for Friday Night Lights. Bell who likes Alabama and Florida is still waiting awhile to make a decision.

Florida will also be trying for a flip this weekend when they host Florida State defensive end commit Quashon Fuller (6-4, 277, Lehigh Acres, FL. Senior) on campus. Fuller who visited in the past has a good relationship with Sal Sunseri but his commitment to Florida State is pretty solid but last week’s loss by FSU has caused some concern for Fuller.

Last but certainly not least is receiver TJ Jones who was on campus last weekend is returning this weekend again. Jones has interest in the Gators but is also high on Miami and others heading into his senior year.

Underclassmen visiting

Dan Mullen and his staff have done a good job of also getting underclassmen on campus since arriving on campus and that looks to continue this weekend as several top underclassmen are expected on campus.

2020 teammates defensive end Chantz Williams and offensive lineman Jalen Rivers are scheduled to attend on Saturday night.

Georgia linebacker Zykeivous Walker and athlete Jaquavion Fraziars are also both expected to be in attendance on Saturday for their visits to Florida this year.

2021 receiver Trevonte Rucker who visited last week is also expected to be in town on Saturday night.

Commits coming to town

Helping the coaching staff work on recruiting with the coaching staff is expected to be several of the Gators commits.

Linebacker commit Diwun Black who says he will be in town for every home game and is the Gators biggest recruiter is scheduled to be in town.

Joining Black is offensive lineman Riley Simmonds who will make his first trip to Gainesville since committing in June.

Safety commit Trent Whittemore will make the quick drive to campus for the first time this fall on Saturday night to watch the Gators.

The Gators will also have 2020 quarterback commit Anthony Richardson and 2020 athlete commit Kevyone Lee in town this weekend.
