Notable: Wright missed his entire junior year with a leg injury but bounced back to rush for over 1,000 yards as a senior. The Gators were one of a few teams to never stop communicating with Wright despite his injury.

Quotable: “That showed me a lot, to stay with me through an injury like that,” Wright said on how important Florida recruiting him during his injury played into his commitment. “They didn’t know what was going to happen but they stayed with me, that showed me a lot. I really appreciated that.”

Andrew always knew he wanted to be involved with sports in some capacity. He began by coaching high school football for six years before deciding to pursue a career in journalism. While coaching, he was a part of two state semifinal teams in the state of Alabama. Given his past coaching experience, he figured covering recruiting would be a perfect fit.
