Florida Gators signee profile: Defensive back Tre’Vez Johnson

Tre’Vez Johnson

School: Bartram Trail

Hometown: Jacksonville, FL.

Height: 5-11

Weight: 175

Position: safety

247 Ranking: 3-star

Recruited by: Torrian Gray

Enrollment date: summer of 2020

Notable: Johnson was one of the first offers that Torrian Gray made once he got to Florida and the defensive back committed to Florida shortly after the offer. Johnson had a strong senior year that produced an offer from Clemson but the safety decided to stick with Florida instead of taking any visits.

Quotable: “Coach Gray says he wants me at the star position,” Johnson said on where Florida wants him to play. “He said I could play some corner too but mainly the star position. I don’t really care where I play, I just want to get on the field early.”
