Florida Gators recruiting visitors list preview for the USF game

The Florida Gators will host their third straight night game in the Swamp on Saturday when the Gators welcome the USF Bulls to town.

While the Bulls won’t draw the attention that Utah and Kentucky did the last two weeks, the Gators’ coaching staff is still expecting several visitors on campus to watch the game.

This week could provide an opportunity for the recruits to see a lot of young players play in the Swamp for the Gators.

GatorCountry brings you a preview of this week’s visitors list for the South Florida game in the Swamp.

Defensive tackles coming to town

It’s no secret that the Gators need to add defensive tackles in the class in a bad way and two of their top remaining targets are expected on campus this weekend.

UCF defensive tackle commit John Walker plans to be on campus for the third straight week on Saturday night. The Gators continue to work hard to flip Walker and defensive line coach Sean Spencer has made up some ground over the last few weeks.

Defensive tackle Jordan Hall is also expected on campus this weekend for the second straight weekend. Hall enjoyed his visit to Gainesville last weekend for the Kentucky game and he continues to build a stronger relationship with Spencer. Georgia is also strongly in the mix for Hall.

Commits coming to town

Most of Florida’s commits have been on campus for at least one game so far this season and on Saturday, the Gators’ will welcome four of those commits on campus.

Offensive lineman Knijeah Harris will be on campus for the first time this fall as IMG has a bye week this weekend. Harris is very solid with his commitment to Florida.

Defensive back Ja’Keem Jackson, defensive lineman Kamran James, and linebacker Jaden Robinson will all be back on campus for the second time this season on Saturday.

Underclassmen coming to town

While the Gators will only host a handful of 2023 guys on campus this weekend, several top underclassmen plan to be on campus.

Headlining the group will be 2024 running back Jerrick Gibson who was once a Florida commit but reopened his recruitment last winter. Gibson likes Florida still, but Miami and several others have joined in the mix.

2024 defensive back Charles Lester is another guy that’s one of the best in his class and he will be on campus for the first time this fall on Saturday.

The following guys are also expected on campus.

2024 defensive lineman Kendall Jackson

2024 linebacker Adarius Hayes

2025 running back Taevion Swint

2025 defensive lineman Armondo Blount
