The Florida Gators will get its last chance to host visitors on campus for a gameday in 2024 on Saturday when the Gators take on Ole Miss.
Billy Napier and his staff are riding a high right now after picking up four commits last week and they hope that continues this weekend.
Headlining this weekend’s visitors list will be four official visitors including three prospects committed elsewhere.
Official visitors
Oregon receiver commit Dallas Wilson was on campus last weekend and he plans to return this weekend for an official visit. Wilson is one of the top players in the country and the Gators are fighting hard to flip the Ducks commit. Wilson plans to visit Oregon next weekend so this weekend is huge for the Gators.
Florida State running back commit Byron Louis visited Gainesville last weekend and he also plans to return this weekend. Louis is a name that the Gators have been monitoring closely this fall and have now turned up the heat on the running back.
Arizona receiver commit Muizz Tounkara will make his first visit to Gainesville this weekend after the Gators offered in October. Tounkara is a Texas native and someone that has strong interest in the Gators.
Florida punter commit Hayden Craig has been solid to the Gators since committing over the summer and now he will take an official visit to Florida. Craig is set to enroll in Gainesville in January.
Unofficial visitors
Joining the strong list of official visitors this weekend will be some targets on unofficial visits including some guys committed elsewhere.
Cincinnati offensive line commit Jahari Medlock will be back on campus this weekend for the third time this fall. Medlock is coming off of visiting Georgia Tech but the Gators appear to be the team best positioned to flip Medlock.
Texas defensive line commit Myron Charles plans to be back in Gainesville for the second straight weekend as the Gators are hoping to make a strong push before signing day. This is going to be a battle down to the wire with the Longhorns.
Defensive lineman Javion Hilson is another defensive lineman that the Gators are hoping to make a strong run at to finish this cycle. Hilson has been talking to Texas and Texas A&M a lot this fall but the Gators have stayed consistent in his recruitment.
Linebacker Kellen Wiley will also visit Gainesville this weekend and he’s someone the Gators may offer after seeing him in person. Wiley likes Miami a lot and Texas is also in the mix but the Gators are someone that could make things interesting if they offer.
Commits coming to town
Quarterback commit Tramell Jones will be back in the Swamp this weekend to help recruit others and he will be joined by tight end commits Tae’Shaun Gelsey and Micah Jones.
Defensive line commit Jalen Wiggins and linebacker commit Myles Johnson also plan to be in town and defensive back commit Ben Hanks Jr. is also expected in town.
Kicker commit Evan Noel is also expected in town for the first time since flipping to the Gators earlier this month.
