Florida Gators recruiting visitors list preview for Missouri

The Florida Gators will host the Missouri Tigers for homecoming on Saturday afternoon in the Swamp as the Gators look to continue last week’s momentum into this week.

Billy Napier and the Gators will also host several big visitors on campus this weekend as they look to continue to build momentum on the recruiting trail.

While this weekend is shaping up to have several big visitors on campus, next week against LSU is when the Gators will have a lot of their top targets on campus.

GatorCountry brings you a recruiting visitors list preview for this weekend.

Defensive targets to visit

One of the Gators biggest remaining targets on the board will be on campus this weekend as three targets on the defensive side of the ball are scheduled to be in Gainesville.

Headlining the group is defensive tackle Kayden McDonald who will be on campus for the first time since Friday Night Lights. The Gators have been near the top of McDonald’s top teams for a while now and are battling Clemson for his signature. McDonald will have several family members on campus with him.

Georgia Tech commit Kamal Bonner will also be on campus for the first time on Saturday as he looks for an offer from the Gators. Booner is a safety in high school, but the Gators are looking to see if he could potentially grow into a linebacker at the next level.

Linebacker Jayvant Brown from St. Thomas Aquinas will also be on campus for the first time under Napier on Saturday. Brown has a lot of big offers with Alabama and LSU both getting the linebacker on campus this year. Florida wants to see Brown in person this weekend before extending an offer.

Offensive lineman coming to town

The Gators need to add offensive linemen to the class in a big way and on Saturday one of their biggest remaining targets on the line will be on campus.

Offensive lineman Caden Jones was last on campus in July, and he will return this weekend. Florida is the leader for Jones with Texas A&M also strongly in the mix for Jones who doesn’t have a decision timeline in place.

Commits coming to town

Joining the targets on campus this weekend will be several of Florida’s commits in the Class of 2023 and 2024.

Running back Treyaun Webb, receivers Creed Whittemore and Tyree Patterson will be on campus this weekend with offensive line commit Bryce Lovett also coming by to campus.

Defensive line commit Gavin Hill, linebacker Jaden Robinson and defensive back Jordan Castell will also be on campus as they join both of Florida’s 2024 commits in linebacker Myles Graham and running back Chauncey Bowens will be on campus.

Underclassmen coming to town

Joining the 2023 targets on campus this weekend will be several underclassmen prospects.

2024 offensive lineman Elyjah Thurmon

2024 defensive lineman Kendall Jackson

2024 linebacker Andrew Hines
