Florida Gators recruiting visitors list: Junior day and one official visitor

The Florida Gators will host their first junior day this weekend and on top of that they will have on official visitor on campus for the 2020 class.

Florida’s coaching staff will host another junior day in March but this weekend’s list is pretty solid for the Gators as they look to jumpstart the 2021 class.

GatorCountry brings you a Florida Gators recruiting visitors list for this weekend.

One official visitor

Florida has a solid offensive line class already and they’re hoping to add Georgia offensive line commit Sedrick Van Pran to the class as he will be on campus this weekend. Van Pran has been committed to Georgia since August but didn’t sign after Sam Pittman left Athens for Arkansas. Heading into the weekend it looks like Van Pran will stick with Georgia but the Gators will hope for a big weekend.

Offensive junior day visitors

Leading the way this weekend for junior day will be 2021 quarterback commit Carlos Del Rio who has been solid to the Gators since committing. Del Rio will help the Gators recruit this weekend.

2021 Running back Lovasea Carroll will be on campus this weekend and has visited several times in the past. The Gators are trending in the right direction for Carroll who plays at IMG.

2021 Receiver Marcus Burke is a Jacksonville guy who the Gators really want in this class and he has been on campus several times in the past.

2022 receiver Daejon Reynolds and 2021 tight end Michael Trigg will both be on campus and the Gators are one of the top teams for both prospects. Trigg is a guy who has been picked up a lot of natural interest as of late.

2021 offensive line commit Javonte Gardner committed to Florida in December and he will be on campus for the first time since committing. Gardner is a guy that Dan Mullen is very high on.

2021 Athlete Charles Montgomery is the next big time guy out of Armwood and he just picked up an offer from the Gators this month. This will be the first trip to campus for Montgomery since he picked up the offer.

Defensive targets for junior day

Defensive lineman Tunmise Adeleye is one of the best players in the country for 2021 and he just transferred to IMG from Texas. Adeleye has visited Gainesville in the past and has always been high on the Gators but he will now have a chance to see Florida more since the distance is much closer now.

2021 defensive end commit Tyreak Sapp will be joined on campus by 2021 defensive ends Victoine Brown, Shambre Jackson and Byron Turner all of whom have visited several times in the past. The Gators should be watched closely for Brown as the Gators have been the team to beat for a while now for him.

2021 linebacker commit Chief Borders has been solid and one of the more vocal commits for the Gators and he will be on campus this weekend to help recruit for the Gators.

2021 defensive backs Omarion Cooper, Ahmari Harvey and Jaylen Reed will be on campus this weekend. Cooper and Harvey have been on campus several times in the past.

Defensive back commit Kamar Wilcoxson just transferred to IMG but he’s coming off a trip to his home state Georgia Bulldogs so the Gators will hope to get that visit out of his mind this weekend. Wilcoxson will be helping recruit 2022 defensive backs Marquis Killebrew, JyVonte McClendon and Jaheim Singletary this weekend. All of those guys have been on campus in the past.
