Florida Gators recruiting visitors list: April 1st-3rd

It’s another weekend that’s expected to be full of prospects on the Gainesville campus as the Florida Gators continue to host prospects on campus for visits.

Billy Napier and his staff have hosted some of the top prospects on campus all spring and that will continue this weekend when several high-priority targets are expected in town.

GatorCountry brings you a look at this weekend’s visitors list for the Gators.

Offensive side of the ball

Napier and company will have several of their top prospects on the offensive side of the ball on campus this weekend including several playmakers.

Receiver Aidan Mizell will be on campus on Friday as he’s in town for track but will visit with the football staff as well. Mizell is a Gator legacy as both of his parents ran track at Florida, but Mizell is one of the top receivers in the class.

Receiver Tyler Williams from Lakeland is another guy that’s one of the top receivers in the country and he will be on campus for the first time this year. Clemson is the team talked about the most with Williams, but the Gators will have their chance this weekend.

Running back Treyaun Webb will make his second trip to Gainesville under the new staff on Saturday. Webb has the Gators in his top five and is trending in his recruitment as the staff would close the deal with the Gators legacy this weekend.

Tight end Reid Mikeska picked up an offer from Florida last week and the Gators will quickly get the tight end on campus. Mikeska sees a big need at his position with the Gators and he will get to meet everyone for the first time this weekend.

Offensive lineman Kelton Smith will also make his first trip to town this weekend. The Georgia native has been talking with the staff for a while now, but this weekend Florida will get the chance to make a move in his recruitment. Florida State and Tennessee are two teams linked to Smith the most.

Offensive lineman Vysen Lang has visited Florida in the past under the last staff, but this will be his first chance to meet the new staff. Auburn has been the team talked about the most with Lang, but the lineman is open to leaving the state of Alabama for college.

Offensive lineman Bryce Lovett has been on campus two straight weekends, and he says he will likely be back for the third straight weekend. Lovett has called Florida his leader and seems close to deciding.

Defensive targets

Maybe the biggest recruit of the weekend will be linebacker Malik Bryant who plans to announce his decision on July 23rd. Bryant is close with freshman safety Kamari Wilson, and this will be the linebacker’s second trip to town under the new staff.

Defensive lineman Derrick LeBlanc plans to visit for the fourth time this year on Friday. LeBlanc is planning to announce a decision in July and the Gators are trending in the right direction.

Safety Jaremiah Anglin picked up an offer from Florida last month and said that he had several of Florida’s current players recruiting him to town and he says he will be on campus this weekend to check things out.

Defensive lineman Kamran James will make his second trip to town this spring on Saturday. James has been in frequent talks with the staff and he will get another chance to build on that relationship this weekend.

Defensive lineman Xzavier McLeod plans to be on campus on Sunday after picking up an offer from Florida earlier this month. McLeod has a prior relationship with linebackers coach Mike Peterson and that has helped the Gators get in the mix.

2024 cornerback Ellis Robinson IV will make the short drive up from IMG on Saturday. Robinson has been wanting to visit Gainesville and this weekend he will get the chance to do that.
