Florida Gators recruiting reaction to win over South Carolina

The Florida Gators had a big come from behind victory on Saturday in the Swamp in front of several big recruits.

This was the last big game for Dan Mullen and his coaching staff to host prospects on campus this year and they were treated to a great game.

GatorCountry caught up with several prospects to get their reaction to Florida’s win on Saturday.

2021 Florida defensive back commit Kamar Wilcoxson-“I’m real happy, I was banged up from last night so I had to stay home but I watched it on TV and I’m proud with the way Feleipe bounced back. I can’t wait to get back down next weekend and watch them play.”

Florida State defensive end commit Derick Hunter-“Good win for Florida.”

2020 Florida defensive end commit Kedrick Bingley-Jones-“It started slow but I’m glad they picked it up and I’m really glad because now I can talk trash to my cousin who is a South Carolina commit.”

Kentucky JUCO defensive end commit Taures Payne-“I think it was a great team win, and it was good to see them hold off South Carolina as the game got closer.”

Defensive end Brayden Monday-“I loved the atmosphere. I enjoyed the visit and I can’t wait to come back for an official.”

Florida State defensive end commit Quashon Fuller- Unbelievable. It was amazing, I never would’ve expected a team to keep playing like that but it’s pretty rare to see a team keep pushing to get a W [win].”

2020 cornerback target Keontae Jenkins-“It was a great game, they fought back and won.”
