Florida Gators recruiting reaction to the win over Miami

The Florida Gators pulled out a 24-20 win over Miami on Saturday night in a close opening game.

A lot of recruits were in attendance for the game on Saturday and a lot more were watching the game on TV.

GatorCountry brings you a recruiting reaction to the Gators big season opening win in Orlando.

Offensive line commit Jovens Janvier-“The game was great, I loved it. The fans were hyped.”

Defensive line commit Johnnie Brown-“Great way to overcome adversity.”

Offensive lineman Issiah Walker-“It was an amazing win for Florida.”

Defensive back commit Jahari Rogers-“WOW!!!! It was an exciting game, nerve wrecking but all around I love how the defensive line played. The playing style of the Gators is awesome.”

2021 tight end Gage Wilcox-“It was a good game, too close for the Gators. They’re way better then that and they still beat a bad team on a bad day which says a lot about this upcoming season.”

Defensive lineman Donell Harris-“Great win.”

2021 receiver Trevonte Rucker-“It was a good win and you can tell the difference between which fan base is better.”

2021 defensive end Bryce Langston-“Good game but a lot of mistakes.”

Quarterback commit Anthony Richardson-“Stressful but we got through it.”

2021 offensive line commit George Jackson-“I believe it was a good game. Florida faced adversity the whole game and always had a great response but overall it was a good start to the season and I can’t wait to see the rest of the season.”

Tight end commit Jonathan Odom-“It was an amazing atmosphere, great use of the tight end for Florida. Great game all in all.”

Alabama defensive back commit Jahquez Robinson-“I bet my dad push ups and he had to do 25 and I was happy. I prefer Gators over UM.”

2021 athlete Walter Clayton-“Happy as can be, definitely was a good win.”

2021 receiver James BlackStrain-“It was a very intense hard played game and it was exciting seeing them boys win the game.”

2021 defensive end Cade Denhoff-“Huge win for Florida. Defensive line stepped up big.”

2021 quarterback commit Carlos Del Rio-“Great reaction knowing that we were down and kept having to come back. I wasn’t actually able to watch the game because I had a game myself but glad we got the win.”
