GatorCountry brings you a recruiting reaction to the Gators big win on Saturday night.

Linebacker commit Derek Wingo-“Super hyped, comeback season.”

Tight end commit Jonathan Odom-“A win is a win, great game to watch. Still using the tight ends great and the Gators made play when they needed too. Trask stepped up when needed as well. All that being said prayers for Feleipe.”

Receiver commit Jaquavion Fraziars-“After Franks got hurt I think everyone realized they had to fulfill a bigger role than usual and it all came together.”

Alabama defensive back commit Jahquez Robinson-“Crazy game, happy the Gators were able to get the win.”

Quarterback commit Anthony Richardson-“All I can say is wow, it was a crazy game and I pray Feleipe gets well and nothing major is wrong with him but shout out to Kyle for coming out and doing his thing.”

2021 defensive back Ga’Quincy McKinstry-“great team win.”

2021 defensive tackle Terion Sugick-“This game had me standing up on my toes all night. Both teams taking the lead back and forth. This was a great played on both sides but the Gators came out victorious in the end. Especially sealing the game with the 76-yard rushing touchdown.”

Defensive end/outside linebacker Zykevious Walker-“Nice win, it was a good game they never gave up. I think it’s going to be a good year for the Gators.”

2021 receiver Michael Robertson-“It was a big win! I think it was a great momentum builder. Kentucky always has been a tough game. Since I’m here at IMG now, I plan on coming to see a couple of the games.”

2021 offensive lineman Micah Morris-“It was a game that started slow for the Gators and they even faced their quarterback going out but they overcame it and went on a 19 point run against Kentucky to get the win.”

2021 receiver James BlackStrain-“Great win, I like how the backup stepped in and threw some great balls. He stood in the pocket and found his playmakers and I like how they fed the receivers the ball towards the end of the game. Florida looking serious.”

2021 running back Anthony Williams-“Crazy game, sad to see Franks go down but the team rallied together. Trask stepped up and led them and I’m happy to see them come out with the win.”
