Florida Gators recruiting reaction to the win over Auburn

The Florida Gators upset Auburn in the Swamp in front of a sold out stadium on Saturday afternoon in a match-up of undefeated opponents.

The Gators coaching staff also had the south endzone full of recruits on Saturday as this was the biggest recruiting weekend under Dan Mullen.

Florida tight end commit Jonathan Odom-“It was the crazies atmosphere that I’ve ever been in. I was getting goose bumps during the game imagining what it will be like in the Swamp.”

 

Florida linebacker commit Derek Wingo-“Crazy, Florida is the best in the SEC.”

 

Defensive end Zykevious Walker-“It was a great win.”

 

2021 receiver Trevonte Rucker-“Man the atmosphere was crazy and I like the game plan. Coach told me before the game it’s going to be a fun game and it was. Dan said that.”

 

2021 defensive end Shambre Jackson-“The game was very exciting, I got nervous when the quarterback went down but overall good game.”

 

2021 Florida defensive tackle commit Christopher Thomas-“It was a very exciting game, not the score that I expected but I expected us to win and that’s what happened.”

 

Athlete Dee Beckwith-“Excited for Florida to remain undefeated and get a win while I was here.”

 

Quarterback commit Anthony Richardson-“Great win today, defense played great and I love the energy from the team.”

2021 receiver Quenton Barnes-“Exciting win.”

Florida commit Fenley Graham-“I love dem Gators,” Graham tweeted.

Alabama commit Jahquez Robinson-“excited to see the home team win always.”
