Florida Gators recruiting reaction to the FSU win

The Florida Gators cruised to a big win over their rival Florida State on Saturday in what is a huge game for recruiting in the state.

While the Gators weren’t at home to host prospects, several prospects were in Tallahassee to watch the game and others watched at home.

GatorCountry caught up with several prospects to get their reaction on Florida’s big win over Florida State.

 

Running back target Nay’Quan Wright-“It’s a great day to be a Gator! #Go Gators #ChompChomp,” Wright tweeted.

 

2020 Florida defensive end Gervon Dexter- “I knew it.”

 

Florida linebacker commit Jesiah Pierre-“We own the state.”

 

Defensive back target Chris Steele-“I didn’t even get to watch the game but I’m glad they won though. Big statement in my opinion.”

 

Florida State defensive end commit Derick Hunter-“Gooooooood win.”

 

2020 Florida quarterback commit Anthony Richardson-“It’s great to be a Florida Gator.”

 

Offensive line target Kamaar Bell-“ I knew they would beat them.”

 

2020 offensive line target Zane Herring-“It was a great win and great game. Glad they finally got the win against them.”

 

2020 South Carolina offensive line target Issiah Walker Jr-“They definitely dominated Florida State.”

 

2021 Florida Gators offensive line commit George Jackson-“I think it’s a great win because they finally beat the streak of FSU winning and now Florida is heading to a New Years six game so that’s also going to be really cool to see.”

 

2021 Florida Gators athlete commit Kamar Wilcoxson-“I’m real excited, we scored more points than I thought and Franks played great today. It’s a great day to be a Gator.”
