The offensive side of the ball will have several targets on campus this weekend and it will be headlined by running back Trey Martin who comes in from Louisiana this weekend. Florida, Alabama, and LSU are all battling for Martin.

Oklahoma running back commit Keldrid Ben will also be on campus this weekend as the Gators look to add one more running back to the class. Ben has been committed to the Sooners since December but he’s listening to Florida and others.

Oklahoma athlete/receiver commit Tra’Von Hall will make the trip down from Alabama on Thursday. Hall is a speedy talented athlete and the Gators like him a lot as a receiver in the class.

Offensive lineman Kennedee Jackson will be on campus this weekend and the Gators are in good shape as he plans to commit on June 10th. The Gators are battling Georgia for his signature but the Gators have made Jackson a top priority for months.

Offensive lineman Antonio Berry will be on campus for the first time this weekend but he has heard a lot about Florida from his former high school teammate JaReylan McCoy. Berry is someone that Phil Trautwein likes a lot. Berry will look to get to know the staff better this weekend.

Top defensive talent heading to the Swamp

This weekend is heavy on the defensive side of the ball as several of the Gators top targets plan to be on campus this weekend that play defense.

Defensive lineman Zahmar Tookes has been to Gainesville this spring but this weekend is a chance for him to spend more time around the staff and the players as he wants to see what life is like as a student-athlete in Gainesville. Penn State is the team that the Gators are battling with here.

Defensive lineman Yahzeen Zion will arrive on campus on Friday as he’s a late addition to the weekend. Zion just picked up an offer recently as the Arizona native will now visit UF, LSU, Oklahoma, and Wisconsin.

Linebacker Tre Geathers will be on campus for the second time this weekend as the Gators try and make up ground with him as South Carolina and Tennessee are the two teams in the leading heading into official visits.

Linebacker Ellis McGaskin will make the trip over from Mobile, Alabama on Thursday as the Gators battle LSU for the talented linebacker. McGaskin likes the Gators a lot and this weekend is a chance for the Gators to separate themselves from LSU.

Linebacker Ja’Bios Smith plans to make a decision in June and the Gators are in good shape heading into official visits. Smith is someone that the staff likes a lot and linebackers coach Greg Gasparato is a big draw for Smith.

Defensive back Kenaz Sullivan will make the trip down from Virginia on Thursday after he last visited Gainesville this spring. Ohio State and Tennessee are two schools talked about a lot with Sullivan heading into official visits.

Defensive back Kamauri Whitfield has long been a top target for the Gators and ever since he left the Tennessee class, the Gators have been the favorite for him. The Gators would like to get this one across the finish line this weekend.

Several commits coming to town

The coaching staff will have the help of several of their top commits this weekend as they look to get some of the targets on campus into the class.

Receiver commit Tramond Collins is solid with the Gators and says he has shut down his recruitment.

Tight end commit Jackson Ballinger has been solid with the Gators since committing earlier this year.

Offensive line commit Peyton Miller is recruiting others to join him in Gainesville and he will be a big recruiter this weekend for the staff.

Defensive line commit Stive Bentley committed to Florida in May and he doesn’t have any other visits scheduled.

Defensive back commit Kailib Dillard, Aamaury Fountain, and Amare Nugent are also all scheduled to be in town this weekend.
