GatorCountry brings you a preview of this weekend’s visitors list as the Gators’ busy month of June continues.

Top tight ends to visit

It’s a big year for the Gators at tight end as the staff wants to add two tight ends to the class and they will host two of their biggest targets this weekend.

Tight end Walter Matthews plans to be on campus this weekend after visiting USC last weekend. Florida and USC have been the top two teams for Matthews and that’s still the case, but Matthews also plans to visit South Carolina later this month.

Tight end Eric Karner will make the trip down from Illinois this weekend for his first visit to Gainesville. Karner plans to visit Iowa later this month, but the Gators are one of a handful of teams sitting in good shape for Karner heading into the summer months.

Offensive linemen to visit

The Gators will host three offensive linemen on campus this weekend after they hosted two top targets last weekend.

Offensive lineman Michael Uini will make the trip from Texas for his first chance to see the Gators after he visited Clemson last month. Michigan, Georgia, and Alabama will all get official visits for Uini, as well as the lineman, looks to take his recruitment into the summer.

Offensive lineman Marcus Mascoll has been to Gainesville several times already but this time it will be an official visit. Mascott was at LSU last weekend and plans to visit NC State the following weekend. Mascoll plans to announce a decision after those official visits are over.

Offensive lineman Mike Williams decommitted from South Carolina this spring and the Maryland native will get a chance to see Gainesville for the first time this weekend. Michigan State will get an official visit next weekend from the lineman.

Receivers heading to Gainesville

Billy Gonzales and the rest of the offensive staff will get their chance with some receivers this weekend as two top targets will be on campus including a prospect committed elsewhere.

Miami receiver commit Chance Robinson committed to Miami this spring and at the time he was high on the Gators and Florida will get a chance to remind Robinson why he liked Florida this weekend. Miami will get Robinson on campus for an official visit later this month, but the Gators hope to give Robinson something to think about.

Receiver Jerrae Hawkins will make the trip up from IMG this weekend as he plans to announce a decision on June 26th after official visits are over for him. Penn State is considered the favorite for Hawkins, and they will get the final shot at Hawkins days before he makes a commitment.

Defenders heading to Gainesville

Last weekend was a big weekend on the defensive side of the ball and this weekend they will host several other guys on that side of the ball.

Defensive Zavier Mincey has been to Gainesville several times already and the Daytona Beach native will be back this weekend. Florida State will host Mincey next weekend and then Miami will get him on campus on June 23rd. Mincey is in no rush to make a decision.

Defensive end Jaylen Harvey will make the trip down from Maryland this weekend for his first chance to see Gainesville. Harvey visited Penn State last weekend and the Nittany Lions are the favorite for Harvey but this weekend is big for the Gators and Sean Spencer.

Defensive back Justin Denson will be in town from Rhode Island and the corner is very high on the Gators. Denson has been to Gainesville before, and he has a good relationship with Corey Raymond. Oklahoma and Michigan State will get visits next, but the Gators have a chance to distance themselves from the rest of the pack.

Safety Ashton Hampton visited Clemson last weekend and will make the trip to Gainesville from Tallahassee this weekend. Miami and Arkansas will get him on campus later this month and then Florida State will host him in December.

2023 JUCO defensive end Quincy Ivory will be in town this weekend. Ivory is from California and will make his first trip to Gainesville. Ivory hopes to earn an offer while on campus

Defensive lineman Michai Boireau is a big target for the Gators and the 390-pound defensive tackle plans to visit Ole Miss and Michigan next. Boireau has been a big target for the Gators and Sean Spencer.

Commit coming to town

Linebacker commit Myles Graham is a legacy commit for the Gators and this weekend he will take his official visit. Graham is solid with the Gators and has been recruiting hard for Florida and this weekend he will be helping the staff.
