The American Athletic Conference – now in its third season – has announced a new format for the 2021 season, with each team playing five conference series during league play. The two-game series will take place over the course of three days, with a rest day in between games.

In Florida’s first season as a member of the AAC in 2019, the team went unbeaten in regular season play and won both the regular season conference championship and the tournament championship. No conference games were played in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
