Florida Gators junior day visitors list: January 20th weekend

The Florida Gators will hold their second junior day of the year this weekend after they had a successful one last weekend.

Several top prospects and targets will be on campus this weekend including two prospects who will be on campus on Friday.

Last weekend, the Gators were able to gain a commitment from two of their visitors after visits were over and they hope to continue that success this weekend.

GatorCountry brings you a look at this weekend’s visitors list for junior day.

Friday visitors

One of the best defensive linemen in the country is 2025 defensive end Myron Charles and he plans to be on campus on Friday. This will be a chance for Charles to get to know defensive line coach Gerald Chatman for the first time. Charles has been on campus before, but Saturday will be the first time since Chatman arrived.

Florida legacy and 2025 receiver Vernell Brown III is also scheduled to be on campus on Friday. Brown is the son of former Gator Vernell Brown, and the younger Brown is a big-time receiver in the state.

Big men to visit the Swamp

Both sides of the trenches will be well represented in the Swamp on Saturday as Chatman and offensive line coaches Rob Sale and Darnell Stapleton will be busy.

2025 Florida State offensive line commit Solomon Thomas plans to visit Florida on Saturday as the Gators try and flip the Jacksonville native. Thomas had high interest in the Gators before committing to the Noles and the Gators have stayed in contact with the lineman since he committed.

2025 defensive lineman Elijah Griffin is considered one of the best players in the country and the Georgia native will be in the Swamp on Saturday. Griffin has visited Florida a few times in the past, but this will be the first time for him to meet Chatman.

2025 Auburn defensive line commit Malik Autry also plans to make the trip to Gainesville on Saturday from Alabama. Autry was high on the Gators under Sean Spencer and the Gators hope to get some moment back on Saturday.

Several other top targets to visit

Joining those guys this weekend will be several other skill players that are top targets for the staff.

2025 receiver Koby Howard has been on campus several times in the past and he will once again visit campus.

2025 tight end Hollis Davidson named a top seven on Friday that included the Gators and now the Georgia native will visit the Swamp.

2025 tight end Micah Jones is one of Russ Callaway’s top targets for the class and the Mississippi native will be in the Swamp for the second time on Saturday.

On the defensive side of the ball 2025 linebacker Kris Thompson plans to visit Gainesville and he will get the chance to meet new linebackers coach Ron Roberts for the first at Florida.

2025 Linebacker Tarvos Alford also plans to be on campus this weekend to meet Roberts as Alford has been to Gainesville several times in the past already.

Commit coming to town

2025 running back commit Waltez Clark has been committed since the fall and he plans to be back on campus this weekend. Clark has been solid to the Gators since committing to Florida.
