Florida Gators junior day visitors list for March 7th

The Florida Gators will host their second junior day of the year on Saturday and the coaching staff is expecting one of the biggest weekends in recent memory.

Florida has picked up a lot of momentum as of late in the 2021 class and the Gators hope to continue that momentum this weekend.

GatorCountry brings you a look at this weekend’s visitors list as the Gators are expected to host dozens of prospects on campus this weekend.

Skill players to visit Florida

The Gators will have no shortage of skill players on campus this weekend, as several of their top targets will make the trip to campus.

Running back Cody Brown will be on campus for the first time this year as the Gators look to catch Auburn in his recruitment. The Georgia native did visit campus last fall for a game.

Joining Brown from the Peach state will be running back Jamie Felix who just recently picked up an offer from Georgia. This will be Felix’s first trip to Gainesville this year.

Receiver Bralon Brown is scheduled to be in town on Friday to visit the Gators before he heads to Houston for a 7-on-7 tournament. Brown doesn’t have an offer from Florida yet but admits that an offer would be big for him.

Jacksonville receiver Marcus Burke has been a frequent visitor to Gainesville and he plans to return to campus this weekend. Florida State and Georgia are also heavily in the mix for Burke who doesn’t have a decision date set at this time.

Receiver/athlete Tommi Hill will also be in town for his first visit to Gainesville this year as the Gators are looking at Hill to potentially play some defense if he comes to Florida.

Hill’s teammate receiver Christian Leary will make the trip to campus on Saturday after visiting Auburn in February. Leary named a top 10 that included the Gators but the receiver is looking to build a better relationship with the staff this weekend.

Receiver Mario Williams is one of the top targets in the country for most schools and the Gators will host him on campus on Friday.

2023 receiver Brandon Inniss is scheduled to visit Florida on Friday before he heads to a 7-on-7 tournament this weekend.

Tight end Nick Elkasnis just recently decomitted from Penn State and he’s scheduled to be on campus this weekend. The Gators are the favorites for Elkasnis as the Jacksonville native was on campus in Gainesville for the first junior day in February.

Offensive linemen to visit Florida

Joining the skill guys will be several big name offensive linemen this weekend as the Gators look to build that position up in the 2021 class.

One of the biggest targets in the country is offensive lineman Amarius Mims and he plans to visit this weekend. Georgia is the early favorite for Mims but the lineman has a good relationship with offensive line coach John Hevesy.

Offensive lineman Micah Morris hasn’t been shy about his interest in the Gators but Florida has some tough competition for the lineman. Auburn, Georgia and South Carolina are also heavily in the mix for Morris.

Offensive lineman Jared Wilson picked up an offer from the Gators earlier this year and just decomitted from Georgia. Wilson has a lot of interest in the Gators but this will be his first trip to campus.

Defensive linemen coming to campus

The defensive line class has a chance to be a special one for the Gators in 2021 and they have many top targets expected on campus this weekend.

Defensive end Tunmise Adeleye just recently moved to IMG and this will be his second visit to campus since making the move. Adeleye says the Gators are recruiting him the hardest but he has several official visits planned for the spring.

Defensive ends Victoine Brown and Keanu Koht visited Florida a lot last fall but this will be their first trip to campus this year. Both have offers from the Gators.

Defensive end Bryce Langston is scheduled to visit Florida on Friday. Langston the former Florida commit just set up an official visit to LSU and the Tigers look to be the biggest threat to the Gators.

Defensive ends Jeremiah Williams and Khristian Zachary will both be making their first visits to Gainesville and both out of state prospects currently hold offers from the Gators.

2022 defensive end Shemar Stewart is one of the best prospects in the country for his class and he will be on campus for the first time this weekend. Stewart has an offer list full of top schools.

Alabama defensive tackles Anquin Barnes and Tim Keenan both have offers from the Gators and will make the trip to Gainesville for the first time this weekend.

Palmetto defensive tackles Savion Collins and Leonard Taylor have both been frequent visitors to Gainesville over the past year and they will once again be on campus on Friday. The Gators are the team to watch the most for Taylor at this time.

Armwood defensive tackle Desmond Watson likes the Gators a lot and he will be on campus this weekend. The Gators are the early team to watch for the instate defensive tackle.

2022 defensive tackle Tyler Booker recently moved to IMG from New Jersey and he will be on campus for the first time this weekend. Booker has offers from several big time programs already.

Defensive players to visit

Joining the defensive linemen this weekend will be several defensive backs as the Gators in the mix for several top guys in the defensive backfield.

The Gators will host lineman Jamon Dumas-Johnson whose teammates with Florida commit Clinton Burton. This will be Johnson’s first visit to campus.

Palmetto defensive backs Corey Collier, Derrick Edwards and Jason Marshall are all scheduled to be in town on Friday to visit the Gators before they head to a 7-on-7 tournament. The Gators have offered all three players. Marshall will not travel with his team to the 7-on-7, instead he will stay in Gainesville.

Defensive backs Terrion Arnold and Ahmari Harvey have both been on campus a lot and plan to return to campus on Saturday. Harvey was just on campus for the Gators first junior day in February and the Gators are the early team to watch.

Alabama defensive back Kamari Lassister picked up an offer from the Gators in February and he quickly set up a visit to Gainesville. Lassister will be on campus for the first time on Saturday.

Defensive back Xavian Sorey likes Alabama and Auburn a lot but the Gators are also in the mix for the instate athlete. Sorey says his recruitment will go into his senior year so the Gators would like to get some momentum in their corner this weekend.

2022 defensive back Nikai Martinez and 2023 defensive back Treyaun Webb both have early offers from the Gators and are building a relationship with the staff despite being a couple of years away from college.

Commits coming to town

The coaching staff will have a lot of help to recruit this weekend as several commits are expected in town for the Gators big weekend.

Quarterback commit Carlos Del Rio and his receiver commit teammate Daejon Reynolds will make the trip down from Georgia for the weekend.

Athlete commit Brashard Smith and receiver commit Trevonte Rucker will both be in town on Friday before heading to a 7-on-7 tournament.

Tight end commit Gage Wilcox and defensive end commit Justus Boone are the two latest additions to the class and they will both be on campus for the first time since committing.

Offensive line commit Javonte Gardner hasn’t visited since he committed but that will change on Saturday when he visits for junior day.

Defensive line commits Tyreak Sapp and Christopher Thomas have been solid with the Gators for awhile now and both have been on campus several times and that will continue this weekend.

Defensive back commits Clinton Burton and Kamar Wilcoxson are two of the Gators top commits and both are scheduled to visit on Saturday.
