Florida Gators cruise past Vanderbilt at home in the Swamp

The Florida Gators (3-2, 1-2) defeated the Vanderbilt Commodores (2-3, 0-1) on Saturday for homecoming in the Swamp.

Florida held Vanderbilt scoreless in the first half despite the Dores having over 200 yards of total offense.

The Gators offense started slow in the first half but exploded in the third quarter with multiple big plays.

FIRST QUARTER

Florida 7, Vanderbilt 0- 1-yard rushing touchdown by Dameon Pierce with 11:16 to go.

Florida 28, Vanderbilt 0- 61-yard passing touchdown from Emory Jones to Dameon Pierce with 12:07 to go.
