The Florida Gators (1-0) defeated the Florida Atlantic Owls 66-21 on Saturday night in the Swamp to open the Jon Sumrall era.
Florida’s offense exploded out of the gate and scored 38 first half points including three touchdowns from Aaron Philo.
The Gators defense struggled through most of the first half but responded to close out the game on a strong note.
