Five questions to answer during Friday Nights Live

Friday Night Lights is expected to be a packed house full of big name prospects for the Florida Gators on this Friday in the Swamp. we expect five questions to be answered as well.

With so many prospects headed to campus on Friday there will be a lot of competition under the lights and a lot of news for Gators fans.

We have already previewed who is attending the event, and now we want to give you five questions/things that we are looking forward to seeing or hearing on Friday.

1.) How do the quarterbacks perform and which one picks up an offer from the Gators?

AS thoughts: Clemson Tigers commit Zerrick Cooper is the name everyone is holding their breath on him showing up, and if he does then he should earn an offer. If he doesn’t show how will Louisville Cardinals commit Tylin Oden do? Also 2017 commit Jake Allen will throw to some good receivers and 2018 quarterback Jack West is hoping to earn an offer.

2.) Who works out at the receiver position and which prospect shines during at the position?

AS thoughts: So far Rick Wells, Cavin Ridley, Isaiah Johnson, Tyler Simmons, Freddie Pinder, Rodney Scott and Daquon Green have said that they will be working out but will this influence the rest of the receivers to work out? I have a hard time believing that Sam Bruce doesn’t lace up the cleats at the event.

3.) How many of the big name prospects actually show up in Gainesville, because every year several big names cancel plans?

AS thoughts: The big name Demetris Robertson was one that I was questioning actually showing up but he has already made it to campus. Now, receiver Binjimen Victor is riding with Jake Allen, so that helps with him. All in all I think you will see a good amount of the prospects on the visitor’s list show up tomorrow.

4.) How do the defensive backs perform against a great receiver group?

AS thoughts: Chauncey Gardner says he isn’t working out tomorrow, but I believe once he sees the receivers out there that he will jump in and work out. I’m also interested to see how McArthur Burnett does during the event against some good receivers.

5.) Which prospects commit to Florida after the event or even during the event?

AS thoughts: Almost every year the Gators have received good news from prospects during the event and I expect that to continue this year. I think the better question is more of a matter of how many will commit, compared to if any will.

These questions will be answered on Friday night so make sure to stay tuned to GatorCountry.com all throughout the day as we will have live coverage of the event.
