Five Florida Gators were named to various 2025 Coaches All-SEC Teams, the Southeastern Conference announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Center Jake Slaughter – First Team All-SEC
Slaughter earned his second consecutive First Team All-SEC selection after being named to the team in 2024. The 6’5, 303-pound center started all 12 games for the Gators and logged 748 snaps, the second most on the team. Slaughter allowed just one sack, one QB hit, and two quarterback hurries in 422 pass blocking snaps. The Sparr, Florida native graded as the best pass blocking center in the SEC while ranking eighth nationally, according to Pro Football Focus.
Slaughter’s overall PFF grade of 78.7 ranks fourth nationally among centers, and his run-blocking grade also comes in at fourth.
Slaughter was recently named a finalist for the Rimington Trophy, an award presented annually to the most outstanding center in NCAA Division 1 college football.
Running back Jadan Baugh – Second Team All-SEC
Baugh was selected to the All-SEC Second Team after rushing for 1,170 yards and eight touchdowns on 5.3 yards per carry. Baugh also tallied 31 receptions for 185 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns.
In his sophomore season, Baugh became the 10th Gator all-time to rush for 1,000 yards in a single season following his 266-yard performance against Florida State, the second-most in a single game in program history. He ranked third in the SEC in rushing yards and 14th in all of FBS this season.
Baugh’s PFF grade of 86.7 led the Gators’ offense and ranked 15th nationally among running backs. The Atlanta, Georgia, native logged 220 rushing attempts in 2025, the 13th-most in the nation.
Offensive tackle Austin Barber – Third Team All-SEC
Barber earned a Third Team All-SEC selection after starting all 12 games at left tackle for the Gators. Across a team high 750 snaps, Barber allowed two sacks, two QB hits, and 13 QB hurries.
Barber’s run block grade of 82.2 led the Gators while his pass block grade of 69.8 ranked fourth. The 6’6, 314-pound Jacksonville native graded as Florida’s third best offensive player, per PFF.
Kickoff specialist Trey Smack – Third Team All-SEC
Smack was selected to the All-SEC Third Team after an outstanding senior season in Orange and Blue. Smack totaled 3,384 yards and 46 touchbacks on 60 kickoffs. He had a career high 641 yards off 10 kickoffs in the Gators season opener against LIU.
The Maryland native connected on 18 of 22 field-goal attempts, including 5 of 6 from 50-plus yards with a long of 56. Smack owns the program records for career field goals of 50 or more yards (10) and for single-season field goals from that range (5), the latter set in 2025.
Long snapper Rocco Underwood – Third Team All-SEC
A Third-Team All-SEC selection, Underwood served as the Gators primary long snapper for all 12 game this season. He recorded 103 total snaps, 52 for punt coverage and 51 for FG/XP.
Underwood recorded two tackles on the season: one against then-No. 3 LSU on Sept. 13 and another against then-No. 7 Ole Miss on Nov. 15. He also recovered a muffed punt against Kentucky, setting up the Gators’ lone touchdown of the game.
