Eguakun flips commitment from Miami Hurricanes to the Florida Gators

The Florida Gators continue their hot streak on the recruiting trail as they picked up another commitment on Sunday.

Offensive lineman Kingsley Eguakun (6-3, 293, Jacksonville, FL. Sandalwood) flipped his commitment from Miami to Florida on Sunday after taking an official visit to Gainesville this weekend.

“I’d like say that I’m 1000% committed to the University of Florida,” Eguakun tweeted.

Eguakun just picked up an offer from the Gators on Tuesday after Florida was able to evaluate his senior year film.

The lineman quickly set up an official visit to Gainesville as Eguakun has several family members who graduated from Gainesville, plus the distance from home was a key for the lineman.

Eguakun is a prospect who was highly regarded by both Miami and Auburn as the Tigers hosted the lineman on campus in September.

The Jacksonville prospect is planning on signing early and enrolling at Florida in January.

Eguakun is the 17th commitment in the class of 2019 and joins Wardrick Wilson, Riley Simonds, Ethan White and William Harrod as offensive line commits in the class of 2019.
