Doeker hired as wide receivers graduate assistant

Billy Napier has hired David Doeker as the wide receivers graduate assistant coach. Doeker will work with receivers coach Keary Colbert.

He played receiver at Louisiana from 2015-17. He worked at LSU as a student assistant coach in 2018 and earned his bachelor’s degree in business.

The Poway, California, native then returned to Lafayette to work for Napier from 2019-21. He was a quality control coach in 2019 and a graduate assistant the last two seasons.

Doeker helped the Ragin’ Cajuns win an outright Sun Belt Conference championship and the New Orleans Bowl in 2021 as well as three consecutive Sun Belt West titles.

He will be working toward a master’s degree in sports management at UF.
