Cull recaps his virtual visit with the Florida Gators

This week has been full of virtual visits with several of the Florida Gators’ top targets in the 2022 class as the coaches are trying to set up official visits for this summer.

Defensive back Nick Cull (5-11, 175, Donalsonville, GA. Seminole County) took a virtual visit with the Gators on Tuesday and several coaches were on the call.

“It was great,” Cull said of his virtual visit with Florida. “Coach [Dan] Mullen, Coach Crimedog [Wesley McGriff], Coach Jules [Montinar], and Coach [Nick] Savage was on there. Very hype dude.”

Cull was able to learn several new things about the Gators program both on and off the field.

“The new facility, that’s coming up, the academics and what Florida is offering me,” he said on what he learned during the visit. “They’re a top 10 school in academics and how I can get my bachelors and masters throughout college.”

The Georgia native is building a solid relationship with several Gators’ coaches and next visit they plan to get into more on the field stuff.

“They’re great dudes, they communicate daily so we have a very close relationship,” Cull said on his relationship with Florida. “We’re going to have another virtual visit and we’re going to more ball than they said.”

Cull says after the virtual visit his interest in the Gators is very high because of a few different reasons.

“I’m highly interested,” he said on his interest in Florida. “I really love how they’re a top 10 school in sports and academics that really stands out to me and the consistent communication we have on the daily.”

The Gators have a lot of competition for Cull as he heads into official visits later this summer.

“Florida, Auburn, Miami, FSU, Virginia, Minnesota, Ole Miss, and South Carolina,” Cull said on schools recruiting him the hardest.

INSIDERS TAKE: Cull says he has an official visit set up with Miami and plans to take on with Florida as well.
