This past weekend, the Florida Gators hosted several prospects on official visits as Jon Sumrall and his coaching staff continue to make impressions on 2027 prospects.
Defensive back Adryan Cole (6-0, 190, Douglasville, GA. Douglas County) was on campus for his visit and he enjoyed being around the players.
“It was great, busy with great information that I learned,” Cole said of his official visit to Florida last weekend. “It was great being around the players, learning more about them and meeting everyone.”
One thing that stood out to Cole during the trip was being able to see what the GatorMade program does for players outside of football.
“Honestly, I had a couple of meetings with Ms. Savannah [Bailey of Gatormade],” he said on the highlight of the trip. “That was great and honestly hanging around the players was great too. I got to see a day-to-day life for them.”
Cole had the chance to meet with all of the coaches but he says meeting with the head coach himself was big to him.
“I had a lot of conversations with Coach Sumrall,” Cole said. “You know that was big, really cool guy, you know very energetic, energy all around.”
This was the second official visit for Cole and he says both his visit to Florida and LSU was driven by information.
“I say both of them were great visits,” he said on his visits to LSU and Florida. “LSU was more family oriented; they gave us more information, but this was a good visit, basically the same thing, I got a whole bunch of information from people I had never met before, it was cool.”
After the visit, Florida is high on Cole’s list of schools as he heads into visits at Ole Miss and Georgia next.
“They’re definitely on my list, it was a great trip,” Cole said on where Florida stands for him. “I enjoyed my time here, it was great. I say this visit gave them a pretty good boost.”
