Carroll has always wanted the offer from the Florida Gators

Several top instate targets visited the Florida Gators on Saturday in what was a must see game for the Gators as they defeated Auburn in the Swamp.

2021 running back Lovasea Carroll (6-0, 189, Bradenton, FL. IMG) was on campus and got to see all of the gameday setup in the Swamp.

“The visit was dope,” Carroll said on his visit to Florida on Saturday. “I mean I got see some of the facilities and they took me to college gameday so I could see that too.”

Carroll noticed the energy in the Swamp from start to finish on Saturday and he even felt it after he left the game.

“The atmosphere in the Swamp was unbelievable,” he said. “It was so loud, I had a headache the whole time. The game I felt they fought till the end and came out on top.”

Earlier this week, Carroll picked up an offer from the Gators and that’s what prompted him to visit Gainesville on Saturday.

“Coach Jamar Chaney offered me,” Carroll said of the coach from Florida who offered him this week. “He just was like the running back coach loved my film and he just said they was going to offer me.”

Carroll who has a lot of big offers admits that picking up an offer from the Gators was one he was looking for.

“It meant a lot to me,” he said on what the offer meant to him. “Once I started getting offers, I wanted to have an offer from all of the Florida schools.”

While on campus on Saturday Carroll watched the Gators offense and running backs closely to see if he would fit in with Florida’s offense.

“The running backs played awesome,” Carroll said on his impressions on Florida’s offense. “When it came down to it, they made some good plays to end the game and I see myself fitting in the running back group at Florida.”

After Saturday’s visit Carroll is looking forward to getting to know the coaches more in Gainesville but the running back does have an early leader in his recruitment.

“I mean Florida is going to be one of my top schools but since it just started with them I don’t know a lot,” he said on his interest in Florida. “Ohio State is my leader and Penn State, Auburn, Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee are also recruiting me.”
