Brown has high interest in the Florida Gators following his visit to UF

When the Florida Gators knocked off the Auburn Tigers in the Swamp two weeks ago, the coaching staff had a lot of visitors in the stands to watch the win.

2021 defensive end Victoine Brown (6-4, 225, Loganville, GA. Grayson) was one of those on campus and he enjoyed his time on campus even though it was cut short.

“My visit last weekend was super good,” Brown said of his visit to Florida last weekend. “I got to see Florida’s stadium in action and it was good. I didn’t get the chance to do much though due to a family emergency midway through the third quarter.”

Brown noticed the Gators fan being into the game from the start and he also liked the way the Florida defense played on Saturday.

“The atmosphere was amazing and it was loud, it honestly gave me the chills,” he said of the atmosphere in the Swamp. “The defense was just dominating, especially in the beginning of the game. That defensive line had Bo Nix trippin out.”

Before the game started, Brown also got the chance to talk to two of Florida’s coaches including defensive coordinator Todd Grantham.

“I talked to Coach [Robert] Cooper and Coach [Todd] Grantham,” Brown said of the coaches he talked to on Saturday. “Coach Grantham said that it could be me out there playing on that field in two years for them. They see me as an edge rusher.”

Recruiting assistant Robert Cooper also spoke with Brown on Saturday about Florida and needing him.

“Coach Cooper has been my main recruiter,” he said. “He was just welcoming me back to the Swamp and that’s it really.”

Brown who has dozens of offers already says he has a lot of interest in the Gators and plans to return to the Swamp.

“My interest level is really high with Florida,” Brown said of his interest in Florida. “I really love the fan base and the defense they run. I do plan on going back to Florida soon though.”

The Gators aren’t the only team recruiting Brown hard as several other big name schools are after the defensive end.

“So far no leaders,” he said on if anyone is standing out in his recruitment. “Mississippi State, Wake Forest, Georgia Tech, Georgia, Virginia Tech, Notre Dame, LSU, Alabama, South Carolina are recruiting me hard though.
