Brown had a ball of emotions after hearing about his Florida Gators offer

On Monday, the Florida Gators handed out several instate offers to prospects in the state of Florida.

2022 receiver Amarion Brown (6-3, 180, Stuart, FL. Martin County) was one of those to receive good news from the Gators on Monday.

“Coach [Jamar] Chaney gave me the news,” Brown said on which coach from Florida offered him. “He was just saying that he knew of me from my freshman year and he showed Coach Billy [Gonzales] my tape and they offered me.”

Brown has four offers already but he admits he didn’t expect to hear the news from the Gators on Monday.

“It really means a lot I didn’t think I would get one from Florida, this is like a step up for me,” he said on what the offer means to him. “I was very shocked I really didn’t know how to react it’s just like a ball of emotions.”

Chaney explained to Brown on Monday just why the Gators like his game and how the receiver can help Florida’s offense.

“They liked my route running and my speed,” Brown said on what Florida likes about his game. “They want a tall fast guy on the outside, they wanna throw the ball and I be the man to go get it.”

Brown hasn’t visited Gainesville yet but he does know several things that he likes about the Gators program already.

“I love the facility even though I haven’t see it in person,” he said on what he likes about Florida. “It looks really nice, the uniforms definitely have my eyes and it’s close to home so I can’t go wrong with that.”

Next up for Brown, he plans to visit Gainesville as two other programs are also after him hard.

“I plan to visit Florida,” Brown said. “South Carolina and Penn State are very passionate about wanting me to be a part of their family.”
