Bond has the Florida Gators “high” in his recruitment following his recent offer

The Florida Gators have handed out a few new offers to 2022 prospects over the last few weeks including a couple to receivers.

Receiver Isaiah Bond (6-0, 175, Buford, GA. High) is one of those guys that picked up an offer from Florida last week after he talked to multiple coaches.

“Coach Billy [Gonzales], Coach [Dan] Mullen, and Coach [Corey] Bell did,” Bond said on the coaches who offered him on Friday. “They really like my playmaking ability and how I can create space.”

Bond has been building a relationship with the Florida coaching staff over the last week and he likes the personalities of the coaches so far.

“I was kind of expecting but I was excited and joyed to get it,” he said in his reaction to the offer. “I had been talking to them about a week about the offer, they’re good guys, down-to-earth guys.”

The Buford native plays both cornerback and receiver in high school but he says the Gators see him on offense for a few reasons.

“They see me playing all over as a receiver,” Bond said on the message from the coaches. “They can see me doing different match-ups because of my playmaking ability and ability to create space on the field.”

After the offer Bond, was quick to say the Gators moved up high on his list of schools as he continues to learn more about Florida and the offense down in Gainesville.

“They’re high right now,” he said on his interest in Florida. “The program as a whole is just a complete program, I need to do my research on them more.”

Right now two other schools are also recruiting Bond hard and he says two schools are on his mind for official visits at this time.

“Alabama, and Miami,” Bond said on other schools recruiting him hard. “I will take an official to Florida and Miami.”

INSIDERS TAKE: Bond says he will make a final decision at the end of June.
