Bissainthe recaps his recent Florida Gators virtual visit

Last week the Florida Gators coaching staff hosted several underclassmen on virtual visits including a few instate prospects.

2022 linebacker Wesley Bissainthe (6-1,195, Miami, FL. Central) was one of those who took a visit and he enjoyed his time with the coaches.

“It was awesome,” Bissainthe said of his visit to Florida last week. “I got to see what the campus had to offer, the training facilities, and the stadium. I liked how beautiful the campus was and how they care about their players.”

Bissainthe talked to two coaches in particular on the visit including linebackers coach Christian Robinson who offered him a few months ago.

“I talked to Coach C-Rob [Christian Robinson] and the head coach,” he said on the coaches he talked to. “Coach Robinson was just speaking to me on how Florida works, what they do and how they do it.”

Robinson explained to Bissainthe during the visit how he would fit into the defense at linebacker and he’s a good fit.

“He sees me playing linebacker for them,” Bissainthe said on the message from Robinson. “He sees me fitting in real good and he hasn’t said whether he wants me inside or outside yet.”

Head coach Dan Mullen also spoke with Bissainthe about what the Gators can do for their players and their history at his position.

“Talking to me about their program and what they have to offer,” he said on the message from Mullen. “He was explaining what happens if I get injured and things like that. He also said Florida has produced great linebackers and they get them ready for the NFL.”

Following the virtual visit Bissainthe says he has high interest in the Gators and he likes several things about the program.

“Florida is just a great school in general,” Bissainthe said on what he thinks of Florida. “I love their drive the coaches have there.”
