Arkansas OL transfer Devon Manuel commits to the Florida Gators

The Florida Gators added another transfer on Friday just hours after one of their official visitors left campus.

Arkansas offensive line transfer Devon Manuel committed to Florida after taking an official visit to Gainesville the last two days.

“Grateful for all the programs that recruited me. With that being said I am 100% GatorsFB thank you Coach Napier,” Manuel tweeted.

Manuel is a redshirt sophomore who will have two years left to play after he redshirted his freshman year.

The offensive lineman played in nine games last year for the Razorbacks at tackle and should provide depth for the Gators.

Manuel joins an offensive line unit that is in desperate need of depth especially at the tackle position and while the SEC lineman doesn’t have a ton of experience, he knows what it takes to play in the SEC.

With the commitment from Manuel, the Gators have now landed two offensive line transfers as San Diego State lineman Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson signed with the Gators in December.
