Arizona State WR Elijhah Badger commits to the Florida Gators

The Florida Gators had two transfers on campus this week for official visits including one of the top receivers to enter the portal this spring.

Arizona State receiver Elijhah Badger was on campus and he committed to the Gators on Friday after visiting Gainesville earlier this week.

Badger took official visits to Washington and Arizona this spring before he visited and committed to the Gators on Friday.

While at Arizona State, Badger played in 35 games accounting for 142 catches that racked up 1,640 yards and 10 touchdowns in four seasons. The receiver also added 111 yards rushing and three more touchdowns on the ground.

This past season Badger suffered an injury that limited him on the field some, but the Gators’ coaching staff did their homework and feel that the injury has improved.

Badger joins a receiving core that is looking for more experience after they lost Ricky Pearsall to the NFL draft after a good a 2023 campaign.

With the addition of Badger, the Gators now have three solid receivers at the top of the depth chart as he joins Tre Wilson and Chimere Dike on the team. Dike transferred to Florida from Wisconsin this past winter and went through spring camp with the Gators.
