Allen has the Florida Gators up there in his recruitment

Several instate underclassmen visited the Florida Gators on Saturday for the big rivalry game against Florida State.

“My visit was great,” Allen said of his visit to Florida on Saturday. “It was actually my first real unofficial visit and it was a blast. I got to put on jerseys and check out the locker and trophy room and stuff like that.”

Allen was impressed by the atmosphere in the Swamp on Saturday night and the crowd noise.

“It was great,” he said of the atmosphere on Saturday. “The crowd was pumped and loud, they were into it and they were awesome.”

After the game was over, Allen had the chance to talk with multiple coaches on the Gators staff.

“Coach Ron [English] and I kicked it with Coach Rat [Keiwan Ratliff],” Allen said of the coaches he talked to on Saturday. “Coach Rat was really just chilling with me and trying to get to know me more and stuff. He’s a cool dude.”

Following his first visit to Gainesville, Allen says the Gators are near the top of his recruitment because of a few things.

“They’re up there but my recruitment is open,” he said on Florida ranks in his recruitment. “I like the atmosphere and the attitude there and that Florida is a winning program so they know how to do things right and the coaches are cool.”

The 2022 defensive back also has several school after him and Allen says he’s a guy that would like to end his process early.

“Miami, Arizona State, Penn State, Maryland, Alabama and others,” Allen said on the other schools recruiting him hard. “I want to decide early probably like the spring of my senior year.”
