If you can’t make it to Gainesville for one of the first two games of the 2015 football season don’t fret, the Florida Gators will be nationally broadcast each of the first three weeks this season. If you do plan on coming to Gainesville to take in the Swamp in person, you won’t have to sweat it out in the hot September sun either.
The SEC released the game times for the first three games of the season and the Gators will open up with back-to-back night games in The Swamp, hosting the New Mexico State Aggies on September, 5 at 7:30 on SEC Network and then will play host the following week to the East Carolina Pirates at 7 p.m. on ESPN2.
The Gators will then travel to Lexington, Kentucky for their third game and third consecutive night game when the Kentucky Wildcats host Florida at 7:30 p.m. on the SEC Network.
This is the first time since 2006 that the Gators will open the season with three night games and the first time since 2011 that they will open their home schedule with back-to-back games under the lights.
